On Sunday, the Mean Girls actress announced the joyful news in a heartfelt Instagram photo in which the couple appears delirious in love. Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas are seen twinning in black as they announce the milestone with four photographs, laughing, hugging, and posing for the camera. Lindsay Lohan posted the news and tagged Bader Shammas, writing, "My darling. my life my household. My future," along with the hashtag "love" and the ring emoji. Lindsay Lohan tagged Bader Shammas in the post along with her siblings Dakota and Aliana Lohan as well as American jeweler and watchmaker Harry Winston.
A spokesperson for Lindsay Lohan told E! News that she and Bader Shammas have been dating for almost three years. Lindsay Lohan "is engaged and thrilled," the insider added.
There isn't much information available about Bader Shammas because he likes to keep a low profile and has decided to make his Instagram account private. However, according to Harper's Bazaar Arabia, Bader Shammas is a 34-year-old finance professional. This was supported by his LinkedIn page, which indicates that he is the Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse, a global wealth management organization and that he has been based in Dubai for more than four years. At the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa, he finished his schooling, gaining degrees in mechanical engineering and finance.
Before her engagement, Lindsay Lohan was dating Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov. The marriage, however, was brief and ended in 2017. The American singer and actress have been outspoken about her battles with addiction, substance misuse, and tumultuous love and family relationships.
