Reliance Emerges Lead Gainer As 4 of Top-10 Firms Add Rs 2.31 Lakh Crore in M-cap

Last week, the market valuation of four of the top ten domestic companies increased by a staggering Rs 2,31,320.37 crore, with market leader Reliance Industries making the most contribution to the overall increase were industries. The Sensex increased by 884.57 points, or 1.61 percent, last week.

TCS, Infosys, and ICICI Bank were the other top-10 gainers, while HDFC Bank, HUL, LIC, SBI, HDFC, and Bharti Airtel had their market valuations decline. The total amount of their losses were Rs 68,140.72 crore. Reliance Industries market value increased by Rs 1,38,222,46 to Rs 18,80,350,47.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) market capitalization (m-cap) increased by Rs 64,618.85 crore to Rs 12,58,274.59 crore, while that of Infosys soared by Rs 25,728.52 crore to Rs 6,40,373.02 crore. The valuation of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 2,750.54 crore to Rs 5,17,049.46 crore.

In comparison, Bharti Airtel's m-cap plummeted by Rs 25,955.25 billion to Rs 3,76,972.75 billion. Life Insurance Corporation (LICworth )'s decreased by Rs 13,472.25 billion to Rs 5,06,157.94 billion.

The valuation of Hindustan Unilever (HUL) fell by Rs 8,963.69 crore to Rs 5,38,561.56 crore, while that of HDFC fell by Rs 9,355.02 crore to Rs 4,13,299.36 crore. The market value of State Bank of India (SBI) dropped by Rs 4,194.57 crore to Rs 4,14,369.71 crore, while that of HDFC Bank decreased by Rs 6,199.94 crore to Rs 7,66,314.71 crore.

Reliance Industries maintained its position as the most valuable company in the top-10 list, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, HUL, ICICI Bank, LIC, SBI, HDFC, and Bharti Airtel.
