England and South Africa played an exciting cricket match on Wednesday at Bristol's County Ground. South Africa put up a valiant fight after the home team scored a massive 234/6 in 20 overs but ultimately fell short by 41 runs. Tristan Stubbs, a 21-year-old batsman, was the Proteas' standout performer despite their defeat. After joining the innings at 86/4, he scored 72 runs off just 28 deliveries while hitting two fours and eight sixes.

Stubbs eventually lost his wicket in the game's 19th over, albeit he was still having trouble finding partners at the other end. However, the young player captured the hearts of the South Africans with his performance, and the great former fast bowler for the team Dale Steyn paid him a huge compliment along with Dewald Brevis, another Protea young player who didn't play in the game but has a comparable power-hitting skill.

Brevis, 19, has yet to play for South Africa, but his explosive performances for the Mumbai Indians in his first season have brightened the 2022 Indian Premier League.

"Brevis Stubbs. The world will be entertained for the next ten plus years," Steyn stated on his Twitter page.

In the Indian Premier League, Stubbs also plays for the Mumbai Indians. The teenage South African was brought in as a last-minute replacement for Tymal Mills. He participated in two games, but he didn't bowl or bat.
