Fire Breaks In 6 Bogies Train Parked At Bihar Gaya Junction

A fire broke out in the sleeper bogie of a train parked at the railway station, after which the entire bogie was gutted. This 6 -coach train was standing on the pilgrim platform of Gaya. The cause of the fire is not clear at the moment.

4 vehicles found the fire under control

Witness Brijanandan Pathak told about the incident that he had gone there for a walk. Also saw smoke coming out of a sleeper bogie of a train parked on the Pilgrim platform. Then it was informed to RPF, GRP, Railway officials, Gaya District Magistrate, and Fire Brigade. After which many administrative officers of the railway reached the spot. Along with this, many vehicles of the fire brigade also reached the spot and did the work of extinguishing the fire. And have got control over the fire, but before that, the whole train has been burnt to ashes. Since it was a sleeper bogie, it spread rapidly due to the racks and mattresses on the seats.


There was an isolation ward in the train with 6 coaches

It is told that this train with 6 coaches was standing on the platform. The isolation ward was also made in these. After which a sleeper bogie caught fire and it was completely destroyed by burning. The relief team reached the spot and separated the other bogies by cutting them from the bogie that caught fire. No person was present inside the train when the bogie caught fire. Although It could have been a big event. The reason for the fire is not clear. This train was standing on the pilgrim platform of Gaya junction since April 2020. It was prepared to deal with the emergency situation during the corona period.
