The producers of Death On The Nile, Ali Fazal's third Hollywood production, uploaded a new teaser for the murder mystery on social media on Tuesday along with a changed release date, which stoked interest in the movie online. Gal Gadot, Kenneth Branagh, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Rose Leslie, Dawn French, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright feature in the movie adaptation of the same-titled classic Agatha Christie novel.

In the teaser, newlyweds Linnet Ridgeway Doyle (Gal Gadot) and Simon Doyle (Armie Hammer) are given a lavish welcome on board a cruise ship on the Nile River. After Linnet Ridgeway Doyle is murdered on the trip and detective Hercule Poirot (played by director Kenneth Branagh) is tasked with catching the killer, the couple's wedding festivities are, however, cut short.

Every cruise passenger, including Ali Fazal, Emma Mackey, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Rose Leslie, Russell Brand, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright, is increasingly being suspected of the murder, and Hercule Poirot is determined to find the murderer as soon as possible.

Ali Fazal's third international endeavor is Death On The Nile, following the 2015 action movie Furious 7 and Stephen Frears' 2017 movie Victoria And Abdul, which also stars legendary actress Judi Dench. The actor is well-known in his own country for his roles in the television series Mirzapur and movies like 3 Idiots and Prassthanam.

Several scenes in the Death On The Nile trailer involve Armie Hammer, who is charged with sexual assault. The actor, who has refuted the rape accusations leveled against him, has been fired from several films because numerous women have come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct.
