According to the BA (Honors) student, he received a passing grade on Political Science Paper 4 in the university's Part 2 test.
After learning that a student from Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) had received 151 out of 100 possible points in the university test, Bihar's education minister, Vijay Choudhary, stated there was no need to stir up controversy.
"There is no need to stir up trouble; it must have been an error. There would be a typing error or some system misfeeding. We'll track down the offender," the minister promised.
The incident came to light after a Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) undergraduate student in Bihar's Darbhanga district unexpectedly received a score of 151 out of 100 on one of the exams. According to the BA (Honors) student, he received a passing grade on Political Science Paper 4 in the university's Part 2 test.
"I was genuinely shocked at the outcomes. Authorities should have reviewed the mark sheet even though it was only a provisional one, according to him. Another student who had a zero on paper 4 of the Accounting and Finance section of his BCom part-2 test was advanced to the following level.
"The university provided me a corrected mark sheet and admitted that there was a typing error, "added he. Mushtaq Ahmed, the university's registrar, revealed.
Both mark sheets included typos, the university's registrar Mushtaq Ahmed told PTI. "Fresh mark sheets were given to the two pupils after the typos were fixed. Nothing more than typos were there there "said he.
