Congress Leader In Telangana Accused Of Stealing Donkey

Congress leader and National Student Union of India president Balamuri Venkata Narsing Rao has been arrested for stealing a donkey in Karimnagar (Telangana ). The police arrested him from Huzurabad city on Thursday night. Police said that this action has been taken on the basis of the complaint of TRS leaders.
Case registered in many sections
They have been booked for abetment to unlawful assembly. rioting, theft, and with intent to show cruelty to animals. The FIR has been registered under sections 143, 153, 504, 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with sections 149, 67 of the IT Act, and 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
What did balmuri say?
After the FIR Balamuri said that he had bought the donkey by paying rent, while the police say that he had stolen the donkey. Six other people have also been named in the complaint, but they are absconding. Balamoor Venkat was arrested after protests at Satavahana University in Karimnagar. He and the other accused were protesting against the lack of government jobs in the state.
