Caroline Garcia, the Cincinnati Champion, Reaches the Top 20

$After defeating Petra Kvitova to win the Cincinnati championship over the weekend, Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia reclaimed a spot in the top 20 of the WTA rankings on Monday.

The 28-year-old, who dropped to 79th place in the rankings in May, hasn't been back in the top 20 since March 2019.

Garcia won her first WTA 1000 championship since 2017 by defeating Kvitova 6-2, 6-4 in the Sunday championship.

Despite falling to Madison Keys in the Cincinnati round of 16, Iga Swiatek kept a clear lead as the world's top player.
