Amitabh Bachchan's Comment Was Reacted To With "The OG Bachchan Doesn't Need An Invitation" by Ajay

Updated: Jul 17

On this day ten years ago, Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan's Bol Bachchan debuted in theatres. The popular comedy movie became one of the most well-known movies of that era when it first came out in theatres in 2012. On Wednesday, the movie celebrated its tenth anniversary of being in theatres, and Ajay took a trip down memory lane by sharing an image from the set. He shared a "throwback" photo from his time working on the movie set. In the image, Ajay can be seen clutching a rifle as Rohit is shooting him with a camera. Two Bol Bachchans shooting at each other with the hashtag "10YearsOfBolBachchan," he wrote.

Though the image brought back memories for many, it was Big B's particular remark that made everyone laugh. "Are yaar "there" ko bhi bula lo na shooting Karne," Amitabh Bachchan commented in the post's comment section.

It appears that Big B misses working on Bol Bachchan's sets! Ajay, though, took note of it and promptly replied. The OG Bachchan doesn't require an invitation, he wrote.

Along with Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Prachi Desai, Archana Puran Singh, Asrani, and Krushna Abhishek, Bol Bachchan (2012) was an action-comedy.

Abbas Ali (Abhishek), a resident of Karol Bagh, New Delhi, is the focus of the movie. He resides there with his sister Sania (Asin), with whom he is in a legal battle to inherit their family's land. They lose the case, though, as the odds are against them. Shastri Chacha, one of their well-wishers, encourages and persuades them to move to his hamlet of Ranakpur, and assures Abbas that he will secure him employment in the home of his owner. The ruthless Prithviraj Raghuvanshi, who is the proprietor, is the business (Ajay).

The movie won a lot of fans. People still recall its hilarious dialogue and rib-tickling situations.
